Love our new artificial turf. We were struggling with our dog and muddy backyard. All that mud was going into the house. Bastion construction was able to plan and estimate the project and get it completed in a week after the original meeting. The work took only 2 days. Cannot thank them enough for that! I have a dog that digs a lot and does his business in the backyard daily. Our lawn was reduced down to a muddy field which even toughest weed couldn’t survive. The rainy days made it almost a disaster to clean up after him. Sean and his team helped me to install an artificial turf in my backyard. They also covered the exposed dirt in the plant area with decorative rocks. Now my backyard looks beautiful and neat. The raining season continues, but the muddy trails became history. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. I especially wanted to call out Sean’s friendly personality and wonderful communication skills. He is accurate and professional, and very easy to work with. Their quote was also very competitive. I would highly recommend them!

We had a putting green installed in our sloped backyard by Bastion. I think this company’s pricing is very reasonable.
Our sales person Sean was very responsive, patient, not pushy, and followed up voluntarily regularly over the three weeks that the project couldn’t begin due to the weather. Their initial quote was formal and informational. He was always there to answer our questions clearly. Signing the contract (all paper based) was a breeze.
Then the installation crew led by Jacob came and did a spectacular, professional job. They were detail oriented, experienced, efficient, and cleaned up very well afterwards, too. They were cordial, friendly, and very good to my dog who wanted to hang out with them every once in a while. Jacob seemed driven and responsible. The work from start to finish took just two days.
The owner of the company, Ryan, also came by to check on the project. I thought it was nice that the company seems to work collectively as a team.

From the initial onsite consultation and sales to the installation, everything ran smoothly even despite some scheduling changes due to simultaneous home projects. Each associate I encountered was focused on providing me the best product and service over their bottom line. They were generous with their attention and time, were very proscriptive about my situation and options, and we're meticulous about the installation and grooming before leaving the site. My backyard is a whole new world my family and I can enjoy. I would 110% recommend them to others and hire them again myself.

These guys are pros! I can’t believe they don’t have more reviews. I found these folks through Angi’s List. They managed to fit our smaller turf project in between a larger one. We had about 250 sq ft of the Olympic Series turf installed. It looks beautiful. I’m very picky about aesthetics and worried the installation would not meet my standards. Pleasantly surprised how exact the turf fits, how flush the edges appear and simply how awesome the turf feels to touch and how bright our backyard looks now.
They also beat a competitor’s bid by A LOT! We’re in Pacifica and grass doesn’t grow well near salty air. So glad we did this.

I was working with Charlie, he really helped me out looking for turf for a high traffic dog area for my backyard. He told me about the flow turf and helped me pick the right color. Charlie has great knowledge and just a fun person to communicate with. He’s very clear you understood everything about turf when you are done talking to him, he doesn’t make you feel dumb asking random questions. Charlie is very helpful glad to have him help me on this project and meeting a deadline before having family visit before our daughter’s birthday.

Wow! Phenomenal work done by Jose, Miguel and Julio. The nicest guys who know exactly what to do and how to do it well. I had turf put in an old garden area. The guys rerouted and re did the watering system so nicely (buried so we don’t see it), they cut old stone away to make room for a larger area of turf and installed the turf with perfection. The crew, including Ryan, were so kind and friendly throughout the job and cleaned up everything so nicely in the end. I would HIGHLY recommend Bastion Construction to anyone looking for an awesome landscape job.
*As a side note, a few years ago, the same crew did my moms front yard and driveway. It was a big job, lots of brick work, pathway and large turf areas. Her yard looks brand new, years later. The turf Bastion uses is top of the line…you don’t see seems and it looks so real you have to go up to it to see that it is turf, not grass.

Ryan & his crew did a phenomenal job on constructing several columns for our pedestrian and driveway entrances. I found Bastion while driving and noticed the phone #s off the side of their truck and decided to give them a call. Ryan gave me a fair estimate and his team were able to start within a week or two. The columns were all completed within 10 days of commencement. His crew always kept the site tidy and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. I had several minor changes to the job and he did them all without hesitation. He was also willing to work closely with my gate guy which was extremely helpful. I will definitely consider Bastion again for any future outdoor projects. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys!

These guys do stellar work. They added a sandbox play area along with their artificial turf, working with the other elements we wanted to keep in our backyard. They were always very punctual and very courteous. I certainly recommend them.
